About Intensive Music Theory Classes

What are the next steps?
Consultation and Trial Class
Step one is the consultation process. Take a trial class with the teacher to determine the level of knowledge and the student’s musical acumen. This first step is important to determine if it is realistic to register the student to the next ABRSM Grade 5 exam date.

Establish Effective Learning Plan
Step 2 is to establish an effective learning plan and schedule the appropriate time for your child to acquire the requisite knowledge. Lessons include aural training and practical examples connecting the theory to the instrument. Finally, mock exams are given to determine the readiness of the student.
Take the ABRSM Exam
Step 3 is to build your child’s confidence and take the ABRSM Grade 5 theory exam.
